Review: On Ramen

Hey, everyone!

I was backpacking with some friends in Sydney a few weeks ago, and we were usually really lost &  really hungry. One Friday night after lots of walking around the city, we started walking around for dinner along random streets in Chinatown until we came across a food joint that all my friends and I could agree on. And this was our pick!!!

With so many options to choose from we eventually decided to order their top 2 selling ramen:

  • Tenderous Pork Rib Ramen ($19.90)

The pork rib was really flavourful and soft. The broth was good too! For those of you who can’t stand the smell of cooked bamboo, the bamboo in this dish wasn’t too bad. You almost couldn’t smell it at all. Rating 8/10.

  • Spicy Beef Tongue Ramen ($19.90)

Only one of us ordered the beef tongue, because it’s ….beef tongue. Unfortunately, it was the best of the two ramen we ordered! The moment you pop that slice of beef, you would never have guessed which part of the cow it came from. It melts in your mouth. It was had beautiful texture and good flavour. I highly recommend this ramen. Rating: 9/10.
